Startup Grind Kabul event on 07, April 2016 hosted Sanzar Kakar (Chairman, Afghanistan Holding Group) and this event’s host was Ajmal Paiman.
Mr. Sanzar Kakar graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering and from Warwick Business School with a Master’s in Business Administration. At the University of Pennsylvania. Sanzar Kakar started in Afghanistan as an Investment Associate for ACAP Partners, setting up a $20 million venture capital facility and sourcing over 300 new deals for consideration. Mr. Kakar joined as an Executive Advisor to the Attorney General’s Office of Afghanistan and also served as the Economic Advisor for the Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility (HARAKAT).
Mr.Sanzar Kakar founded Afghanistan Holding Group in Kabul, Afghanistan. He is great entrepreneur, public speaker and every time I meet Sanzar Kakar, He doesn’t fail to inspire me, his words inspired and educated me since I saw him for the first time in Founder Institute event, where he was our mentor so I pitched my Startup Idea to him and the other mentors but the other mentors didn’t get what my startup idea was so Mr. Kakar pitched back and explained my idea better than me. It was a great event, learn a lot from him. He is the combination of a great entrepreneur, motivational speaker, teacher, and a leader.
